Who hasn’t heard of the famous fine wines of Valpolicella? If you’re looking for a unique experience, you really should visit Tenuta Serego Alighieri in Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella. The estate takes its name from the sublime poet Dante Alighieri; in fact, the land was bought in 1353 by his son Pietro Alighieri, who had followed his father into exile in Verona. Today Tenuta Serego Alighieri is thought to be the oldest winery in Valpolicella, as well as one of the most prestigious and famous.
