You will be accompanied by a tour guide on a journey to discover the streets of Florence, full of small stores that will give you the authentic flavors and atmosphere of the Tuscan capital.
We decided to create an exclusive and intimate experience: the group will be very small, with a maximum of 6 participants.
You will be able to connect with your guide so that you can have an authentic experience, touching on the Italian lifestyle and Florentine food and wine.
You will taste traditional Florentine specialties, sip excellent Chianti, and discover details about the history, culture, and traditions that will enrich your visit to the city of Florence.
What to expect:
Sant’Ambrogio Market
Our experience will take you to visit an authentic Florence market, where you can find Florentines doing their shopping.
The Sant’Ambrogio Market is a historic market, and in its streets you can breathe in the Florentine culinary tradition. Here you will not find products for tourists, but locally produced raw materials that the citizens of Florence consume on a daily basis.
Don’t miss the opportunity to discover one of the places most deeply rooted in the city’s memory.
Typical street food
This tour includes several stops at small historic workshops. Here you’ll find authentic street food: taste baked goods, enjoy a great cutting board, be enchanted by real Florentine gelato, and more.
This itinerary is perfect for those who want to find out all they can about the typical culinary art of this region.
Florentine stories and curiosities
Not many people know that “Buchette del Vino” (small holes in walls through which wine is sold) are still active in Florence. In fact, from here it is possible to order wine to be sipped comfortably on the street, almost as if it were a takeaway.
Thanks to your tour guide you can discover a “buchetta shop” currently in operation.
This is just one of the distinctive features of Florence that you will discover during this experience!
N.B. The roads in Florence are not always optimal for people with mobility difficulties. We recommend that you carefully assess your possibilities as the tour includes sections of walking on uneven pavement and possible architectural barriers.
Vegetarians are welcome. Unfortunately, it is not the ideal experience for vegans. Please advise us at the time of booking of any dietary restrictions or dietary needs.
As for celiacs, non-contamination cannot be guaranteed, so we ask you to consider carefully.
